Police search for missing 25-year-old Gwinnett County man

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Family and friends of a missing Gwinnett County man are fronting a $10,000 reward. Gwinnett County police continue their search for 25-year-old Kelly Nash after he vanished early Monday morning.

Nash was last seen around 4 a.m. at his home on Jimmy Dodd Road in Buford. Nash's girlfriend said he woke up coughing and sneezing and said that he wasn't feeling well. When she woke up again around 7:30 a.m., Nash was gone. He left behind his wallet, money, cell phone, keys, car and jacket.

Alan Nash, Kelly's father, said that his son isn't the type to disappear.

"We spent the holidays with him and he seemed to be in great spirits," Alan Nash said. "And he's not the kind to walk away. We've done everything that we know to do at this very second to find him. And we know he's out there and we just want him to come home."

Kelly Nash works with his father in his father's construction company. He is in his last year of college, studying accounting.

Friends and family spent the day passing out flyers in hopes of generating leads. So far, nothing has turned up.

Gwinnett County Police have issued a nationwide lookout for Nash.

Nash is 6'02" tall and weighs around 215 lbs. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue plaid pajama pants and a t-shirt.

The Nash family were regulars at JACKS restaurant in Baselton. The owners have guaranteed a minimum reward of $10,000. Friends and also soliciting additional donations. Anyone who wants to help with the donation is asked to call (678) 936-2483.
