Mall of Georgia’s Movies Under the Stars Plays Host to The Dark Knight Rises Tumbler Tour | Events

BUFORD, Ga. -- Nothing says ‘Summer Nights’ quite like taking in a moonlight movie with friends and family at Mall of Georgia’s annual Movies Under The Stars film series! Kick back and relax with some of the year’s hottest blockbuster hits on an impressive 42-foot screen in the Village Amphitheater or come early and enjoy some of the great activities and music lined up.

On Saturday, June 23, receive a firsthand look at The Tumbler and Bat-Pod from the highly-anticipated summer film, The Dark Knight Rises from 3 to 8 p.m. Sneak an inside peak at the iconic super hero’s Gotham-inspired ride before the film hits theaters and IMAX on July 20. The first 25 people to arrive dressed as their favorite Batman character will receive special screening passes to the film!

While exploring the official Tumbler Tour, let the little ones bounce around on the Inflatable Fun Rentals or sample from a variety of concessions featuring summer favorites such as Italian ice, gelato, ice cream, popcorn and cotton candy.

Valet your vehicle with the Gwinnett County Police Department behind the Village Stage for the ultimate safety seat check. The GCPD will be on hand beginning at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. performing complimentary safety checks for all guests!

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., local talent Drowning Creek will serenade audiences as they enjoy all the Village Amphitheater has to offer before settling down at dusk for Dolphin Tale. Lawn chairs and blankets welcome!
