Haunted Night of Lights, this weekend

Similar to the Christmas light exhibit, Lake Lanier is hosting a Haunted Night of Lights event which runs nightly, 7-11 p.m., Oct. 1-31. Haunted displays put a fun spin on skeletons, witches and other ghoulish characters that lurk in the shadows. This light exhibit is suitable for people of all ages.

View the spooky scenes with wide-eyed delight before concluding at the Haunted Village where carnival rides, games and even a kid friendly Fun House provide additional entertainment. Pony rides, apple cider and a marshmallow roast make it easier to bear the things that go bump in the night while a shop inspires ghoulish gift-giving including tasty treats and farm-grown pumpkins.

Admission is $20/car Mon.-Thurs.; $25/car Fri.-Sun.; $40/van (up to 15-passenger capacity). Additional charges for Haunted Village activities. For more information visit Lake Lanier online.
