Buckhead Pizza Co. Buford

Buckhead Pizza Co. Buford

My son and I moseyed on over to one of our favorite restaurants called, Buckhead Pizza Co. located in Buford,Georgia. One thing for sure, when you walk into this restaurant, you are going to have a great time. From the indoor/outdoor patio, full bar area, fab wine list to the live music and great food, you’re sure to have a blast!

My son and I were on our monthly date night and he was so excited to head back to this place. He ordered his favorite thing off the menu and that was the personal pizza that he could create himself. He loves to get all messy and smoosh the pizza dough, kids think its so cool.

Georgia's newest public college is all grown up

Georgia's newest public college is all grown up

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Georgia Gwinnett College has come a long way in a short time.

The first four-year public college to open in Georgia in more than a century started operations in 2006 with just two buildings, a grassy parking lot and a little more than 100 juniors as its initial students.

Now, a brand new library and student center flank a sprawling quad where students play football and Frisbee. Down a winding walking path are dorms, intramural fields and a $7 million lab science building still under construction.

Enrollment is expected to top 8,000 in the fall. And on Thursday, Georgia Gwinnett will award diplomas to the first class of students who began there as freshmen.
